Full description
I decided to make myself some needlework accessories which I could enjoy using. This design worked well and I made this one for my shop.
A hand embroidered and appliqueed landscape featuring irises beside a lake form the design for this needlecase. Various yarns are used to give depth to the design and the iris in the foreground is embroidered using silk ribbon.
Two layers of thick interfacing give the item structure and should prevent the tips of needles and pins from protruding.
The felt inner provides storage for your pins, needles, safety pins etc.
