Full description
This phone case, or cosy, has been entirely hand-stitched and a unique felted and embroidered meadow decorates the front.
A variety of hand-dyed fibres are felted onto an 'eco' felt ( produced from recycled plastic bottles) background using an embellisher machine. Meadow details are added by snippets of yarn and other fibres, carefully preserved from other projects and felted into place. Distant flowers are suggested by french knots. The daisies in the foreground are stitched in detail.
The case is lined in a printed cotton fabric - blue harebells on a white background, backed with iron-on interfacing. The reverse of the cover is a pale and white striped fabric. The case is seemed with blanket stitch in blue crochet cotton for durability design. The case closes with a crocheted loop - using the same blue cotton thread, over a grey button.
