Full description
This is an example of a satin corsage bouquet I custom-designed for two bridesmaids. They wore black strapless gowns with a deep ivory/latte coloured satin sash. I used satin in the same colour to handmake six luxurious corsage style roses which I wired together with pearls, crystals, vintage buttons and tiny white silk flowers. These details mirrored the jewellery, buttons and crystals in the bride's more elaborate bouquet, while ensuring the bridesmaid's posies worked with the simple lines of their elegant dresses.
The stem is wrapped with ribbon and has a bow fastened with a pearl and diamante 'brooch' - which is actually one of a pair of vintage clip-on earrings.
This particular bouquet is not for sale - but a similar bouquet in the same size and shape, with satin roses in the colour of your choice and crystals/buttons/pearls to match - costs $175. The bouquet is approximately 16cm in diameter and around 21cm long.
