Pretty Pastels is a little occasional hand knitted and crocheted handbag with a pretty pastel pink 100% cotton lining and single button closure, this button is a unique handmade ceramic button.
This is a unique handmade item, fully hand knitted and hand stitched by myself to my own design.
I have knitted the main body of the handbag in one direction, so the rows look horizontal and the flap over closure in the other direction, making the rows vertical, just for some added interest.
The handbag has then been crocheted together integrally with the short handle for added durability.
The yarn for this handbag is a multi-coloured bumpy pastel yarn, incorporating, pink, yellow, green and cream and is a mix of 56% cotton, 31% Acrylic and 13% polyester. The lining is 100% cotton.
This handbag can be washed, but as the handmade ceramic button is attached, I would suggest hand washing with care only and drying flat to retain its shape.
The handbag is roughly rectangular in shape, measuring approx 20cms in height and approx 23cms in width.
I love playing with yarns, knitting and crochet, and really enjoy creating unusual items from them. I felt this yarn would be perfect for the spring and summer months and I couldn't resist combining the ceramic button with this yarn into one item. This would be a perfect summer holiday handbag, or just for someone with a love of anything quirky and unique.
