This is one of a pair of birds atop their birdhouses. I loved the detail, the colours and I couldn't wait to embroider them. I particularly love doing this style of embroidery as there are no rules and I can use my imagination. I was able to use a mixture of ribbon, cottons, metallic threads.

Full description
A 3D embroidered art piece created from a pre-printed image of a bird atop a birdhouse covered in flowers.
I chose to make the large flowers in a beautiful orange organza ribbon for the petals and I beaded the centres with black seed beads.
I used silk ribbon for the smaller flowers and used a beautiful glossy black silk thread to fill the centre with French knots and rounded this off with silk ribbon leaves.
The bird is in various shades of browns in a matt cotton thread.
I took the minimalist approach and highlighted the the bird house itself with a metallic thread.
This, like its matching piece, is one of a kind and I have signed and dated it.

We appreciate that it is difficult to get the full effect of the artwork on-line and should you not be entirely satisfied with it on receipt as long as you notify us within 7 days and return it in a perfect condition in its original packing we will be happy to refund you (less the shipping costs).
