This handmade journal was made from organic red linen fabric. On the front of the journal I have appliquéd an owl using vintage and new scraps of fabric. Two green vintage buttons have been stitched to represent the eyes. On the back I have stitched a photo of a daisy flower.
I hand stitched the seven signatures together using red hemp twine. The spine has been left exposed because I think it is a pretty feature to this handmade journal. Please note there are irregularities with this handmade journal, the cutting and folding of the paper is not perfectly flush.
This journal would make an ideal gift. It is lovely to look at, but is also very useful and practical.

Journal is approx. A5 size, 15cm (6ins) wide x 22cm (8.75ins) long. All sizes are approximate.
