This is a stained glass suncatcher, an angel, made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A new design, nicely in time for the run up to Christmas.
A bright green Xmas Tree.
The tree is made from 2 types of green glass, one textured and the other iridescent. There is a shiny crystal on top and silver snowlakes on the branches. I've then added a string of Christmas lights in the form of little orange, red glass beads.
I've added a tinsel effect round the top crystal using some tiny silver star beads.
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely soldered to the top of the tree which is 14 cm tall and 9 cm wide.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass and certainly with this design there will always be differences in the way that I decorate it.
All photos are of this tree as it is the first I have made of this design.
