This is a one of a kind handmade mosaic jewellery/key box.No one else in the whole wide world will have one of these!
Hang in on your bedroom wall for a unique jewellery box or in your kitchen for a beautiful place to keep your keys.Even without anything inside it this would look charming adorning any interior wall.
The whole box (inside and out) has been painted in a matt olive green colour, it is in a "shabby" chic style.The front door panel is covered using the crockery from a teapot (including its lid for a novel door knob) and gold plated rims from ornate dinner plates. The pattern on the crockery includes gorgeous pink roses.The mosaic does not lie flat as the teapot is curved, the surface therefore undulates. The gold shards are faded and subdued by age, this piece should be lightly dusted with a soft cloth.To fasten there is a gold coloured catch. To display there is a d-ring hanger on the left and right hand sides at the top.Dimensions
