This hand spun yarn has been dyed using a special dye technique to produce a variegated yarn with gentle random shifts of colour with no colour repeats.

Full description
The Random Shift yarns have been specially hand-dyed to give a variegated, non-repeatable colour throughout the skein. There are no stripey colour repeats. The colours throughout the skein gently shift from shades of orange, yellow golds to olive greens. The yarn has been hand dyed with environmentally friendly dyes.
This yarn has been hand spun yarn using pure Romney wools. It has been single thick/thin spun using a woolen long draw method to create a yarn that is light and fluffy and has a bit of texture.
Approx 100 gram skein, 160 yards
Sample has been hand knit using 6 mm knitting needles.
To care for this yarn, please hand wash in cold water using a gentle soap.
This yarn would be lovely knit up into a hat, scarf or wooly mittens or use it as an accent yarn for a jumper.
