I had some scraps left over from a previous project of this gorgeous retro print by Harlequin and played around with them to make this cover. The design reminds me of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and my childhood as I grew up in Glasgow and attended the School of Art on Saturday mornings.

Hand sewn with a lovely Harlequin retro print heavy furnishing weight fabric and striped cottons from my own stash of fabrics. The patchwork front has been lined for additional strength in calico and all the seams have been double sewn and four stitched overlocked . It is piped in a yellow embossed cotton. The reverse has been sewn in a cream linen and cotton heavy weight fabric and has a flap for ease of opening.
Measures approximately 17 inches / 44 cms. square.
