Full description
This handmade purse has been made with fabric that I purchased from a folksy seller who was having a destash sale. It was such a beautiful colour and lovely fabric that I couldn’t resist purchasing it. It reminds me of a Chinese brocade fabric, but it may just be very similar. It is turquoise and has a lovely soft feel to it.
I have embellished the front of the purse with some white eyelet lace with turquoise satin ribbon, white lace trim and five small turquoise buttons. The purse has a zip closure, and a self fabric zip pull. It has been interfaced to give it structure, and the lining is a heavy weight calico fabric.
This unique fabric purse can be used as a coin purse. It is big enough to hold several cards, notes and a quantity of silver and copper change. The purse would make a lovely gift, especially if you put something else inside it!

The purse is 16.5cm (6.5ins) wide and 12.5cm (5ins) deep.
