Sometimes, if we have an unusually hot summer, Hummingbird Hawk Moths visit to feed on the flowers in the garden. They hover at the mouth of the flowers just like a Hummingbird and unfurl their long proboscis to feed on the nectar.

Full description
Hawk-moths are supposedly named after hawks because of their size (the largest has a wingspan of 10cm) and ability to hover.
This painting has been t-hinge mounted with a cream mount. The mount is A4 size which is approximately 8.27" x 11.69" (210cm x 297cm). It has been sealed in a cellophane bag so will arrive ready for framing or giving as a gift.
All materials used are artist quality and acid free.
I’ve done my best to capture colours accurately. However, please note, that colours will be affected by your computer resolution and the actual item colours may differ from those you see on the screen.
