My love of miniature items, doll's houses, embroideries, tapestry and the Arts & Crafts movement and of course William Morris.
I wanted to make a miniature 1/12th Scale doll's house carpet based on the Chinese Gansu Knot rugs.
The peonies symbolise wealth and the destiny knots in the border are to indicate a safe journey in life, with Buddha's protection for a peaceful end.

Dolls' House Miniature Chinese Carpet Gansu Destiny in three panels of duck egg blues, teals and cream - 1:12th scale
All hand made.
It would look great in the Living Room or Bedroom of your one inch scale Dollhouse.
The carpet measures 9.5 inches by 8.15 inches (24.25 cm x 20.75 cm)
It is all hand stitched on 22 holes per inch canvas using DMC cotton embroidery threads using tapestry stitch (tent stitch).
There are nearly 38,000 individual stitches and it took me approximately 85 hours to complete the carpet plus additional hours designing the chart.
The back of carpet has been neatened by a backing of fine lawn cotton.

All the other items shown in the pictures are just to give an idea of scale and how it would look in your own doll's house, they are NOT included in the purchase price.
Spot clean only.
For shipping it will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and plastic and placed between two cardboard sheets for protection and finally placed in a jiffy bag.
Free shipping to United Kingdom addresses. It will be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For mail.
To overseas addresses it will be shipped by Royal Mail 1st Class International Signed For and you will receive a Tracking Number.
