I'm a photographer who likes to capture memories. Those fleeting glimpses of beautiful everyday scenes that play over in our minds are what I try to capture in my work. The pieces aren't necessarily meant to be technically perfect, rather a way of transforming the viewer back to fond memories past.

A beautiful Peacock Butterfly, 'Le Paon Du Jour' feeds on one of its favourite food plants, the Buddleia or 'Butterfly Bush'.
The image is captured with a digital camera and then taken in to the editing suite where it is given a painterly effect using a variety of techniques. The finished piece conveys a fleeting moment or memory of this ever familiar and beautiful scene.
Printed on Canon Professional photographic paper and comes sealed in a signed ivory mount.
The image size is A4 (210 x 297mm) and the mount size is 14''x 11'' (279 x 356)
