The Red Campion starts flowering just as the Bluebells are fading to give a welcome splash of colour. The Red Campion in my garden has particularly dark flowers. I get my herbs and wildflowers from Iden Croft Herbs in Staplehurst which has a large range and stocks unusual plants.

Full description
Red Campion flowers vary from deep pink to red and, where it grows with White Campion, the resulting hybrid flowers can be pale pink. In the language of flowers, Red Campion signifies "Encouragement" so this would make a lovely good luck present or Valentine gift for a shy admirer.
This painting has been t-hinge mounted with a cream mount. The mount measures approximately 9" x 7" (23cm x 18cm) and the aperture 6.5" x 4.5" (17cm x 12cm). It has been sealed in a cellophane bag so will arrive ready for framing or giving as a gift.
All materials used are artist quality and acid free.
