I never normally recommend my Tiffany suncatchers for outside but in 2008 I made myself a Rainbow Worm and it has been hanging outside my front door ever since.
Quite miraculous that it is still intact given the strong winds it has experienced especially as it is not framed with twisted wire - but it does still look remarkably good just hanging about under the climbing rose.

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
This is a Rainbow Snake, or a Worm for those with a snake phobia.
It is the first of this design I have had for sale here on Folksy.
It has 10 segments in glass of all colours of the rainbow with lots of different types of texture for added movement.
The end of the tail is a little fused glass nugget I made in my Hotpot kiln and including a little dichroic glass for added sparkle.
This is 18 long and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top.
it is would make a wonderfully bright addition to any room and especially effective in a conservatory. It is totally individual and I am really pleased with it.
I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.
I can never make another just the same as this, as each fused nugget I make is quite unique and therefore unrepeatable.
