You are buying a 'naked hedgehog' printed onto a piece of fabric, and you can then add prickles yourself, in any way you like! He/she will also want an eye.
They are mostly pink, but sometimes blue, green, peach or another rainbow colour appears. Pink is probably what you'll get, but let me know if another colour is better or if there is a colour that your hedgehog really shouldn't be and I'll see which members of the flock are here.
Draw prickles or sew them, paint them, print them, embelish them...
Then you can make your prickily hedgehog into a toy/bunting/clothing/a bag etc etc
This is a project for anyone to do and if you want to you can post pictures of your finished hedgehog onto the Naked Hedgehog facebook page.
The hedgehog print is 20cm long and 14 cm high and printed by hand from my original lino block in pink (or blue/green/peach etc) on unbleached cotton. It is printed with fabric block printing ink and can be washed gently and at a cool temperature, preferably by hand.
The hedgehog and the Naked Hedgehog project are my original ideas and design, so feel free to join in with the project and post on the Facebook page, but remember that the copyright of the basic hedgehog is mine, so please give him/her a good home and don't sell him/her on - a hedgehog is for life - thanks.
