Decorative magnetic memo board featuring a map of the world as it was in 1941.
A unique, one of a kind memo board made from a genuine original vintage map taken from a 1940s atlas showing world communications. This would make a fantastic gift for anyone who likes maps or geography. It looks beautiful as it is, but you could use it to pin up notes and lists, or if you have friends and family living abroad you could make markers to point to each of their homes – a great way to show children where they are living.
The memo board comes with two magnets and hooks to screw into the frame so that it can be hung on a wall. The map has been sealed with a matt varnish so that it will not be damaged or scratched by the magnets.
Please note that as this item is made from an original vintage map it does show some signs of wear and tear. In particular, there are a few marks on the map but overall it is in very good condition.
