I have three of these cute little brooches for sale...please note the price is for one brooch only. Please let me know at time of purchase which colour you would like. xx
Each of these brooches has a felt circular head with stitch embellishment to represent the gills. The stem of each fungi is made from crocheted jute twine wrapped in ecru lace which I have stitched firmly in place. A one inch silver-tone brooch bar is sewn securely to the reverse side of each stem.
Brooch 1. is made in a lush lichen green colour with similarly coloured stitch detail.
Brooch 2. is made in a rich tan brown shade with contrast neutral coloured stitch detail.
Brooch 3. i made in a opulent pink colour with contrast neutral coloured stitch detail.
Each brooch measures about 3 inches long, with the 'head' of the mushroom (or toadstool!) measuring an approximate 1 and a quarter inch in diameter.
All brooches are presented on card printed with a classic mushroom poem and make charming gifts for fungi enthusiasts on lovers of the countryside.
I post UK first (standard) class. Other destinations will be sent standard airmail.
