Brimming with summer, this feather crown is your perfect sunny companion, and will take you from to dancing barefoot in the grass at sunset right through to the twinkling dawn.
The base of this headdress is a section of multi coloured floral embroidered textile. Beautiful bright hues are complimented by a trim of multi coloured shimmering sequins underneath and twinkling delicate gold lace trim above. The turquoise of the textile is picked up in the feathers, and I have added touches of white lace and soft white feathers to add sophistication and compliment the colours.
Either side of your head are large iridescent mother of pearl buttons set in rounds of hand woven textiles in azul and antique gold, sourced from the magical mountains of San Christobal, Mexico, where the textiles are produced to order on small hand-held looms. There is a beautiful movement in this piece, from the fringe trim across the forehead to the streams of ribbons, muti coloured chain and bead which cascade from either side.
Handcrafted in small batches, all my headdresses are designed and fastidiously pieced together for maximum durability by me, in my studio in Brighton, England.
