As seen on The Apprentice 2014 and described by The Sunday Telegraph as "the most stylish gift around" - this unique recycled handbag is created from two carefully chosen vintage tweed flat caps, handmade with beautiful leather handles and snap fastening.

This iconic bag is girlwithbeads signature design. It's the perfect accessory for a weekend in the country or lunch with the girls and there's plenty of room for your little essentials whilst showing your eco credentials in the most stylish way.

The flat caps are hand picked with a keen eye for making the finished bag beautiful, but if you want to know what kind of flat caps we have in our treasure chest, please drop us a line so the choice can be tailored for you.

All materials are sourced locally, with every hat thoroughly cleaned before being hand sewn together. The leather handles are cut by hand and attached with rivets using a hand press.

Average size: 25 x 25cm, handles 40cm long. The bag also features a snap fastening underneath that allows you to expand the space inside.

The idea for the Flat Cap Bags came about whilst girlwithbeads was sourcing materials from charity shops to experiment with and a happy accident created this perfect bag shape from these unlikely items. These bags are always a talking point and never fail to raise a smile.
