Full description
This is a beautifully made, heirloom quality lockable box finished in glossy red high pressure laminate as an alternative to wooden veneer. Traditional dovetail construction with solid rebated base. It includes a quality morticed levered box lock (with key) fitted with brass button escutcheon and toggle latches. This box is fully paper lined with complementary red/brown striped paper which is durable and non marking. The box is protected from knocks with hand fabricated aluminium corners fitted with solid brass cabinate screws. This one also includes a brass plate similar to a 'cartouch' in concept attached to the lid underside and could be engraved with your own personal message or dedication.
This would make an ideal keepsake/privacy box or similar and as such is an ideal gift for someone special.
