As a perennial garden and woodland favourite, this tiny British bird is, I think, my favourite!
Despite their diminutive size they possess a bold personality and a cheeky disposition and always seem to get their fair share of bird-table treats- even when competing with far bigger birds!
This little chap is made from upcycled denim with a contrast yellow felt breast. His ivory felt head is crowned with a distinctive blue felt cap. The familiar black markings of this chipper little feathered friend are picked out in felt and stitch-work. He has a brown felt beak and bright black beady eyes. I have added some visible decorative stitching to his wings and ensured he is plump full of polyester toy filling so that he is certain to maintain his fine form for years to come!
Despite the use of toy filling please note my birds are intended as decorative additions to your home only; the use of wire, beads and untested fabrics in their construction means that are not suitable as toys for young children.
