Full description
A hand forged copper heart, made with 1.6mm thick pure copper wire. I have embelished it with a semi precious bead suspended inside the heart - I've shown it here with a carnelian and also with a rose quartz but you can choose your gemstone and if I have it in stock, I can fit it to the heart
The heart measures approx. 35 x 40mm
I have oxidised the metal and then polished to reveal the bright copper on the high spots - this gives the piece a real antique feel.
This shawl pin is perfect for open weaves such as knitwear or loose woven fabric - it is not however suitable for close woven fabrics such as cotton as the pin part is 1.6mm thick
