An embroidered and felted garden design decorates the front of the re-usable cover of this 'A6' notebook.
A wide variety of fancy yarns have been 'felted' to a commercial felt background by the use of an embellisher machine. The sailing boat, sea pinks, yellow poppies and grasses have been added by embroidery. Machine stitching in a 'shallow zig zag' criss-crosses the background to stabilise the felting.
The cover is stitched from a pale blue gabardine type fabric and is lined with a printed cream coloured fabric, backed by interfacing. Folded pockets at each end of the cover are securely blanket-stitched in place, and accept the covers of the notebook. The case closes with a crocheted cord tied in a bow.
The cover is designed to fit a standard A6 notebook (a notebook is included - replacements are readily available from stationers).
