This technique started out as an experiment. Its a little time consuming wrapping the circles but I love the results!
Its pretty, colourful and a Map! Fab!

Made from a continuous piece of wire formed into circles and joined together.
Sealed into them is a section of a real map featuring part of the French coastline.
I managed to capture Nimes, Marseille, Aix-en-Provence and Nice in there.
Its lightweight because its made from paper and wire, but its sturdy and hard wearing. (though I wouldn't let the cat play with it )
Measuring 8cm across x 1.5cm high, and attached to a simple gold plated chain which fastens at the side and hangs at an eye catching 16"
