The dimensions are as follows- 33" long, 23" wide with a 4" thick top and stands 15.75" high. This significant table that I have recently completed still bears quite a lot of the original paint which is over 100 years old, both edges of the table are reeded as are the legs down one edge,this feature is also original,the length of timber that I have used to make this table was sourced by myself from the old Hoxton rd chapel in Scarborough which was sadly demolished in 2011,it must have been exposed when it was inside the chapel as it is planed side and edge with reeding and also painted.the legs are substantial to support the heavy top ,and enhance its look. As with all my tables there are no nails or screws just good old fashioned joints ,pegs and dowels.this table is no 9 of 12 original one off tables that I have been making over the past year and the underside of the table is stamped SWOBART 09 alongside my logo/trademark,this wood is over 150 yrs old but still looks young and fresh and will give years of pleasure.
