Full description
This necklace is quite unusual in that it features textured black lava gemstones, teamed with gorgeous mottled green serpentine gemstone beads, with hour glass shaped sterling silver beads.
The Lava is highly textured, showing patterns of the gas bubbles that formed as the lava cooled. The fantastic serpentine beads are opaque with many shades of green, ranging from pale mint to mossy tones. The gems have natural mottling of deep green and black, which is picked out by the lava focal stones.
The stones have been traditionally hand knotted and each lava gem has been flanked by a sturdy, hand polished sterling silver hour glass shaped bead. Each of these is individually stamped 925 for sterling silver, so you can be sure of the quality of the componants used in the design of the necklace. The necklace has been finished with a strong sterling silver magnetic clasp, also stamped 925 for sterling silver. The serpentine stones measure 11mm in diameter approx and the lava stones measure 14mm in diameter approx.
Please note that magnets are not suitable for people fitted with electronic health maintaining devices or for those who are pregnant.
This lovely necklace measures 50.2cm or just short of 20 inches in length approx.
