I made this mobile because I love mobiles!! I also collect owls so I have lots of owl images scattered around the house giving me inspiration.
I couldn't decide whether to pair the owl with moons or stars so decided to make moons with stars sewn on and get the best of both.
I think this mobile is lovely for either boys or girls, which also makes it useful if it's for a baby and you don't know the sex.
I really enjoyed making this mobile, particularly the owls with their sequin eyes that catch the sunlight!

Full description
This is an Owl and Moon mobile made for a baby or child's bedroom. The mobile contains 4 owls and 4 moons, hanging from white ribbon with silver edging. They are made from felt and hang from a wooden ring. The ribbons tie into a loop at the top which can be attached to a hook (hook not supplied).
The moons have 6 stars embroidered onto each with gold thread. The owl has gold embroidered detailing and two gold sequins for eyes.
All items are sewn very securely.
Each owl measures 8.5 cm x 7 cm and each moon measures 8.5 cm x 6.5 cm (so they are nice and large).
