It is spring time, and fresh flowers reminds me of that lovely feeling of happiness that comes when the the winter is behind us. I love using a combination of drawing, stitching and a variety of fabrics and this simple little picture just conveys that lift of the spirit.

"Happy Days' - a sweet stitched picture of a vase of flowers, made from tiny scraps of chintzy fabric, including Liberty prints, and edged with lace. the background is a neutral linen and 'Happy Days' is embroidered in blue at the top. It is framed in a colour washed wooden frame and the total size is 8 inches x 8 inches. It is ready to hang or stand.
