I love the idea of using special fabrics that you would normally pack away in a drawer and turning them into your own special keepsake memory bear so that you can have ypour memories transformed into a display item.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
These custom made memory keepsake bears are created using your own fabrics. Select some baby grows, or Grandmas table cloths, wedding or Christening clothes etc. These will then be created in to a teddy bear.
The teddy bear is my own pattern and will be adapted to suit your own choice of fabrics. It is approx 35cm high from hip to head.
Because of EU law, I cannot make these bears as toys. Toys have to be CE tested and it would be inpossible to test each of your fabrics in the manner required. They are created as display items. I do make CE sock monkeys and rag dolls and the manufacturing process on the memory teddy bears is to the same high standard. Triple sewn seams etc. I use the same stuffing and thread.
Typically a bear uses 6 baby grows, but can use as many as you would like. For other fabrics, contact me and I can discus your requirements.
Customisation can be undertaken on one or both foot pads.
