Full description
This stunning ceramic brooch is created using buff clay which is bisque fired, glazed with high gloss black and overlaid with splashes of white and a dash of speckled moss green. It is then refired. It is not until I remove a piece from the kiln that I know what it will look like. Each piece amazes me and I live with the pieces for a few days before deciding how to use them.
