Full description
This fantastic up-cycled coat is created from wool, cashmere and mohair jumpers. These are previously loved and recycled jumpers, that I have washed in a hot temperature and pre-shrunk. I have then cut and re-stitched the jumpers, with all seams being professionally finished with a serger/overlocker, to create this fabulous coat.
The jumpers have been carefully selected in red, brown, green and fawn colourways, with different stitch patterns and natural fibres to create texture. There is a super long hood, waist ties and 5 decorative metal hook and eye closures.
The photos show the coat on a size 10-12 mannequin. Dimensions are:-
Chest - 38”
Waist - 38”
Length nape to hem - 47”
Length Waist to hem - 30”
Hood length - 48”
Underarm sleeve seam length - 21”
Due to the up-cycled nature of these coats, and their weight, they are very versatile and have a variable fit, and do stretch, so this coat will fit up to a size 14. I can provide further measurements if required.
I would suggest to hand washing your coat and dry flat.
With this fantastic coat, you will also receive the matching shoulder bag. This is created from the same wools as the coat, so is a perfect match, and is fully lined in up-cycled cotton, so will not stretch. It has a handy internal pocket and a wooden button closure. It measures approximately 11” wide by 14” long, with a 40” strap.
