Marples Moulding Plane iPhone Holder/Dock Desk Tidy, Organiser
I came across this plane in a local sale I thought it had a nice feel and look about it. On the front is stamped Marples BB Sheffield England on the back 1 in.
Marples were founded in 1830 in Sheffield, England and established a reputation for excellence. This lovely plane dates from the late 1800's to mid 1900's.
I have adapted 2 old children's toy blocks to make the iPhone holder/dock. The cable is easily installed and held in place with a brass catch.
The blocks are attached through the rear using countersunk brass screws.

iPhone Holder/Dock - easy to thread thro' your own cable and anchor tidily and securely in place.
4 holes drilled to take pencils/pens
A Neodymium disk magnet to hold paperclips etc.
Felt feet are attached to the base to protect delicate surfaces.
A beautiful, tactile and useful item for the home, office, workshop, studio and certainly an excellent gift for the guys.

This plane has been a working tool but is now adapted to enhance your desk - the blade has been removed for safety.
