Ladies....do you get fed up with not being able to find anything in your handbag. Is your partner always accusing you of carrying everything but the kitchen sink? Well this is the answer. A handbag organiser, otherwise called a handbag tidy or handbag roll.
I recently made one for myself as I like to carry a large bag and can never find anything.
In a nutshell, you have a strip of material lined with interfacing, for strength, and then stitched to another strip of material, also lined. To this you add pockets and voila....no longer a messy bag.
Finally, when you want to swap handbags you just lift out the organiser and place it in your next bag. No fishing about for all sorts of odds and ends.
Finished size : 30 x 12 cm (each side) before ribbon tied with a total of 6 multi sized pockets.
This organiser is as seen minus the 'props' used to demonstrate its purpose. I will be listing some more very soon but if you would like a particular colour please let me know and I will custom make one to your specifications. I recently made one for myself as I like to carry a large bag and can never find anything. Once I started using it I realised there were a few things I could change, such as adding a means of fastening. I've tried velcro, but if like me you then cram too much stuff in your organiser the velcro won't always hold. So ribbon seemed the next best solution, however, this in itself caused a few problems until I decided to stitch the roll back on itself.
So, in a nutshell, you have a strip of material lined with interfacing, for strength, and then stitched to another strip of material, also lined. To this you add pockets and voila....no longer a messy bag.
