I was inspired by Spring and the anticipation of seeing the first flowers popping there beautiful heads up through the soil.
I love flowers and joy they bring to life. I wanted to capture this by making an everlasting flower

Full description
Crocheted Sunflower with a personalised hand embroidered gift tag.
I used black eyelash and brown crepe wools to create the centre. The petals are made using 3 shades of yellow 2ply cotton combined to create a multi tonal effect. The stem and leaves are in sage green 4ply cotton.
I also used 18 gauge green floristry wire through the centre of the stem which enables it to be bent to the desired position.
These crochet flowers are made to order. They make wonderful gifts and unlike real flowers they will last forever!
This is an example of what I can do. If you have any requests please let me know. Maybe a favourite flower or a colour to match your decor.
Also the stem can be made to the length of your choice.
The flowers come with a hand embroidered personalised felt gift tag in a colour of your choice.
