This gorgeous purple tartan bag is a development of one of my first designs.
I have made this lovely bag a little larger so great for everyday use, the straps are also slightly longer so it works well as a shoulder bag. The bag is lined with a contrasting pink floral cotton.
The shoulder bag is stiffened and slightly padded to add extra structure, there is also a plastic liner in the base so the bag keeps its shape.
This handbag has a large zipped pocket on the inside and fastens with a magnetic snap fastener. On the base of the bag are silver feet to protect the bottom.
On the front of the bag is an attractive flower corsage made from layers of satin,net & organza in the centre is a pretty black faceted button. This is detachable so can be worn as a brooch, as there is also a crocodile clip on the brooch back it could also be worn in your hair.
