Item details

A dashing hare brooch in brass. Hand cut and polished from 1.5mm brass sheet with a sturdy locking pin soft soldered to the back. The hare's eye is copper. The brooch is about 65mm long and is more suited to being worn on heavier garments due to its weight.

The design is an original from my own sketches.

We don't have many hares here in Northumberland, but it's always a treat to see a hare dashing along. It's a sight that always makes my day.
