When my children were little they seemed to spend the whole time wearing rather grubby, once white terry bibs and I never even questioned it. Given that time over again, they would definitely wear something more fun (and as my canny sister points out, "less likely to show the mess").
Here's a beautiful deep, deep, midnight blue polka dot cotton bib with a bright pink spoon and fork appliquéd on it. I like the idea that maybe the neatness of the cutlery will encourage good table manners and that your little one will learn to put her spoon and fork together when she has finished eating. Style and practicality in the one package!
The bib is backed with strokingly soft bubblegum pink fleece (which wicks moisture away from delicate skin) and fastens with a large blue popper.
The design of the bib is extra wide on the shoulders, so when your child looks round to make sure they're not missing out on any action, they don't end up with yoghurty shoulders (I have a LOT of experience of this!). It measures approx 26 cm wide and 32 cm long.
The bib is fully washable, but the front would benefit from ironing afterwards to keep it smooth.
