Full description
Custom-made, long, flowing tutu skirt in the romantic style. Six layers of tulle draped down to long lengths. This tutu is made of tulle, voile, satin and cotton. The layers of tulle prevents the skirt from being see through. Sizes: one year to adult.
Hand pleated skirt with fabric waistband, This is not a no sew tied on tutu.
The tutu has been TRADITIONALLY made by hand pleating and sewing each layer one at a time and then stitching over the layers to give a waistband and added strength. This skirt will stand up on its own giving a crinoline effect yet it is also fluid and moves lightly -which is perfect for twirling and dancing. This is a well constructed skirt NOT a tutu made of strips of tulle.
These skirts are made-to-order. Please supply the following measurements:
1. Your natural waist
2. Your hips (the fullest part of your hips)
3. Desired length
4. Usual dress size or age if child
