I created the pendant to symbolize and celebrate the most venerated of trees by the Druids. Oak,(Duir in Celtic), the 7th tree of the Celtic Ogam. It signifies courage, inner strength, the power to determine our own destiny.
The virtues attributed to the moonstone were to protect from harm and danger in travelling by sea and land; to give mental inspiration, and to bring success and good fortune in love.
The Oak leaf earrings hang beautifully and compliment the design of the pendant

Full description
This beautiful Sterling Silver and Rainbow Moonstone Pendant has been handcrafted by me here in the South west of Britain using traditional methods. Each leaf is individually cut from sheet silver and forged and carved into shape. The moonstone is mounted in a 99% fine silver bezel. The metalwork was carefully crafted and assembled for beauty and longevity. The lower leaf has been burnished over the edge of the Moonstone and this represents the moon glimpsed through an oak tree.
