Tea is my favourite, my cuppa of choice and my muse!
From the mug of builders to kick start your morning, to the brew savoured over a gossip with your best friend to the (well earned!) pot of tea served to you on delivery suite after the birth of a baby. Tea is the perfect accompaniment to life's challenges both mundane and spectacular. There are very few crises that are not calmed by a nice cup of tea. It really is the beverage of champions.
Whether you prefer Assam, Darjeeling, Earl Grey, Ceylon or Builders', if you love tea then this is the print for you.
The imagery and typography were inspired by trade union banners, wartime propaganda and vintage graphic design. I wanted the print to have a slightly old fashioned feel.

SALE This charming limited edition screenprint is my tribute to tea.
A traditional 'Brown Betty' tea pot sits proudly in the centre of this print. Typography on a banner behind proclaims 'BEVERAGE of CHAMPIONS'. The background of the print is a rich blue with a heart detail border. Four-colour (blue, red, 'tea' and brown) screenprint on quality 140gsm Seawhite cartridge paper. These are printed by hand and so there are small variations in each print, that's what makes them special... The remaining prints are reduced in price to reflect the fact that the blue background is has some darker areas on one side.
An edition of 44 prints. Each print in the edition is signed and numbered.

Paper Dimensions approx 29.75cm wide by 42cm high. Image is 26cm wide by 34.5cm high (including the edition number and signature).
Fits Ikea 'Ribba' frame as shown in listing photo if it is trimmed slightly (let me know if you'd like me to trim the print for you).
Ships in a cello sleeve, rolled in a (sometimes reused) cardboard tube.
