I made the one shown for a very special little girl. A personalised Christmas stocking adds a lovely decorative, and practical, touch.

Christmas stocking, which can be personalised with a name on the front - the one shown is a previous order, so an example.
I've made this Christmas stocking from a gorgeous and unusual Christmas fabric that you won't see everywhere - it's a thick duck cotton, with a fabulous winter theme.
I've patched the back and front from two fabrics, using freehand machine embroidery for the name. I've added a pom pom trim, in a Christmas-y red, and small bells, and the stocking is fully lined. It's large enough for a few small presents, but is mainly decorative, and looks wonderful hung above a fireplace, or at the end of a bed. The back of the stocking measures approx 12 inches from top to heel, while measured flat across the top is 5 1/4 inches. I'm afraid it doesn't come with the pressies shown - these are just to show how it looks when filled.
With the personalisation, this is a special Christmas stocking, and definitely one for keeps. It will take around 7 days to make up your order.
