These are beautiful banded Fluorite stones in a classic Pear Drop shape. They have great clarity and the banding is like a midnight purple. When looked at from different angles you get a 3D effect from this banding. I have been lucky to find 2 similar stones to make these perfect Earrings.

I have connected the Pear Drops to some small Fluorite round beads with a rose gold coloured Copper wrapped wire. This adds a rich contrast to the purple shades of the main stones.

Fluorite is said to - promote spiritual and psychic wholeness. It develops truth, provides protection, and brings peace.

Approx. measurements - 2.5cms/1in drop from the earwire.

Fluorite is a pretty special stone and it is the origin of the word fluorescence. Some pieces appear to glow under ultra violet light. I love its many colours and the unusual, yet natural,banding you can find.
