Full description
Hand made, OOAK clasp purse with lovely orange and pink cotton David Walker Pig Toss fabric from the Get Together range on the outside, and a lining of two-tone pink hearts from the same range on the inside.
The clasp itself measures approximately 12.5cm by 5cm, the purse as a whole 15cm by 10cm at the widest point. The fabric is gently gathered along the top edge to give lots of room inside for all your bits and bobs. I've been testing one of these for nearly three years before listing any for sale, and I frequently carry all my bank cards, plus shop loyalty cards, lip balm, mini handcream, bus pass and a small dispenser of sweetener tablets in mine with ease!
The fabric is securely glued into the frame with Guttermann HT2 glue which I've heard described as "grippier than a pot of lobsters" and I have to agree! After nearly three years, my original purse is still going strong.
There are four layers to each side of the purse - outer fabric, fusible interfacing, wadding and lining - which gives a nice, sturdy and plush feel to the finished article.
Each purse is finished off with a Yellow House label on the inside and will be sent with paper padding and in a stripy paper bag.
