Full description
This handmade notebook was made using gold silk dupion fabric that has an orange pattern of leaves and flowers printed on it.
The notebook has been hand stitched using natural hemp twine. There are seven signatures. The spine has been left exposed because I think it is a nice feature to this handmade notebook. The unusual paper used for this journal came from the Exotic Paper Co. Ltd and it is made from recycled consumer waste with the added ingredient of Rhino poo.
There are irregularities with this handmade note book i.e. the cutting and folding of the paper is not perfectly flush.
This handmade notebook would make an ideal Christmas or Birthday gift. It is lovely to look at, but it is also very useful and practical.
Measurements: Note book is A6 size, 11cm (4.5ins) x 15.5cm (6ins)
110gsm 100% recycled paper, 70 pages. All sizes approximate.
