Full description
This is a stylised, mini carving of a dolphin. It is hand-carved from elm burr wood. The burr of the tree results from some sort deformity during growth, and gives the wood beautiful figuration with a lot of small knots.
It stands on a small 'wave' carved from lime wood.
The entire carving is finished with several coats of Danish oil.
The dolphin stand only about 2 1/2 inches and is about 4 inches long
