Full description
A selection of hand woven fabric, woven from 100% recycled silk yarns (from mangomoonyarns.com).
There are 8 pieces of fabric which all range in size and colour :
An orange, purpley brown and gold piece (as seen in second photo) which is 24cm by 19cm.
A dark orange, brown and purpley piece (as seen in fifth photo) which is 17cm by 26cm.
A bright orange and gold piece which is 24cm by 16cm.
A dark pink, bright pink, gold and orange piece with gold sequins along one side which is 24.5cm by 19cm. (as seen in first picture)
A bright pink, red, orange and gold piece which is 18.5cm by 22cm.
A longer piece of the same colours as above which is 68cm by 13cm (as seen in the fourth photo).
Another piece in the same colours as above which is 41cm by 26cm (a close up of ths can be seen in the third photo)
And a very nice tightly woven orange, red and yellow piece which is 26cm by 23cm.
These pieces would be perfect for making unique quilts, fabric art or other crafts.
The fabrics are incredibly soft and have a rich, sophisticated colour pallette. They are totally unique. The weave is very tight but if you want to cut into the fabric I would suggest that you overlock the edges straight after cutting to avoid the weave unravelling. Alot of work has gone into making these pieces, most would have taken around 4 hours or more to complete.
