I like simplicity. All of my photography is base around it. I am forever looking to distill a scene to its essential elements of colour and form. This is a classic example of using digital manipulation to highlight the essential elements of the colours and balance whilst at the same time creating a scene full of serenity and relaxation.

Full description
An abstract image of a beach. These abstracts are created from photographs of beaches in the Outer Hebrides. They aim to give the portray the colours and feeling of a quiet gentle beach. The print is approximately 6 x 4 and is mounted to fit an 8 x 6 frame (frame is not included).
The print is on Hahnemuhle paper which has a really luxurious feel. The mountboard is lightly textured off-white neutral mount.
