Trees are a common theme in my work and this piece started with my experiments into making fused glass trees by melting recycled scraps of glass in my kiln and they seemed to lend themselves to being incorporated into a leaded panel.

Full description
Magical little panel in ice blue, kingfisher blue, violet and dark amber glass. The different textures of the glass work beautifully together and I made the central tree motif by melting scraps of recycled glass into tree shapes in my kiln.
The whole panel is leaded using traditional leading techniques and is a gorgeous contemporary Christmas present.
Hang or lean in a sunny window, hanging chain included. 13.5 x 10 cm approx
